コース紹介／Introduction

東京大学大学院 学際情報学府 総合分析情報学コースは、情報社会における石油とも言われる「データ」を利活用し、産業分野だけでなく、持続可能な開発目標（SDGs: Sustainable Development Goals）を達成するために寄与したいと考えています。実世界からIoT（Internetof Things）技術によって得られたビッグデータを、機械学習（Machine Learning）や深層学習（Deep Learning）などのAI（人工知能）技術をはじめ、シミュレーションやデータサイエンスの手法なども駆使して、「総合」的に「分析」し、それをデジタル社会変革（Digital Transformation）や社会課題の解決、人間の能力の増大などにつなげることを目指しています。その成果は防災・災害軽減、生命科学、Fintech（金融工学）、スポーツ工学、医薬品情報学、空間情報認識、社会資本管理、ドローン、自動走行自動車など、現代社会の様々な課題の解決に利活用されます。 本コースの修士課程修了者には「修士（学際情報学）」の学位が授与されます。また、博士課程修了者には「博士（学際情報学）」の学位が授与されます。

The Program in Applied Computer Science Course, Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Information Studies, The University of Tokyo, aims to contribute to the effective utilization of “data,” often referred to as the oil of the information society, not only in industrial domains but also toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By leveraging big data acquired from the real world through Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, the program takes a comprehensive and integrative approach to analysis, employing artificial intelligence (AI) technologies such as machine learning and deep learning, as well as simulation and data science methodologies. Through these efforts, the program seeks to advance digital transformation, address societal challenges, and enhance human capabilities. The outcomes of this research are applied to solving a wide range of contemporary societal issues, including disaster prevention and mitigation, life sciences, fintech, sports engineering, pharmaceutical informatics, spatial information perception, social infrastructure management, drones, and autonomous vehicles. Graduates of the master’s program are awarded the degree of Master of Interdisciplinary Informatics, while graduates of the doctoral program are awarded the degree of Doctor of Interdisciplinary Informatics.
